Happy Birthday Princess Hui

There was once a princess named Hui. She lived in a land, far, far away, near where the red and white rivers met. Princess Hui’s birthday, this year, magically, landed on a Thursday and the same old dark brown party was held for her. She was tired of dark brown so she wished and wished to the special birthday fairies that this year she could have something different.

When her birthday came around, it was all the same as usual with way too much dark brown. Nearing the end of the party, her Mother came out with the most beautiful cupcake Hui had ever seen. It was PINK! With little pink hearts, silver balls and one big pink candle. She was so excited; she didn’t want it to end. So she watched and watched as the candle melted away, until eventually there was no candle left and the flame went out. It was all so beautiful that princess Hui made a decree, “Every Tuesday, from now on, will be known to all as ‘Happy Pretty Pink Thursday!’
